The Gate Annual Youth Conference is the Youth Ministry of Aldersgate Renewal Ministries www.aldersgaterenewal.org. We are an affiliate of the GBOD through the Upper Room in the United Methodist Church.

What We Believe
We believe in the ministry of the Holy Spirit in Methodist Church History.
We adhere to the theology of the United Methodist Church.
We believe God desires to be active in our lives and use us to advance the Kingdom of God.
We believe teenagers have a special part in bringing renewal to the church.
We believe in not just creating and environment for teenagers to have an experience with God– but also to be changed by God.

Why We Exist
We exist to be a different kind of youth conference.  Yes, we have many shared components of other youth conferences but there are a lot of unique components that make up The Gate as well.  These components can be found under Conference Info.  We are also the only National United Methodist sponsored youth conference that occurs every year.

"All I knew about the Gate beforehand was that there was going to be a lot of intense worship, but I had no idea what I was in for. When I got there, there were a lot of people, but it was very easy to get out of my shell because the Holy Spirit is just in the atmosphere. I met so many people and made a lot of great friends, but the best part was getting to minister to each other on our own time. The Holy Spirit was truly everywhere and you could feel Him in the worship every night, the Equipping sessions, and in every speaker and everyone you meet.
