Jen has a heart for the Next Generation to come to understand that they are not too young to experience the power of the Holy Spirit in their lives and to walk in their God-Given Identity. Jen serves Aldersgate Renewal Ministries as the Director of Local Church Renewal Events and Next Generation Ministries, and volunteers in the children’s ministry at her home church. Jen is married to Brian and they have one daughter, Bella. They live in Hendersonville, TN.
Pastor Kara Bussabarger aims to be a preacher and leader who raises the white flag on her own plans and ambitions and surrenders to the Holy Spirit and His will for her life. Each day she wants to be more like the prophet Jeremiah, who bless his heart, just had to speak about God. So much so that the more he tried to keep his mouth shut, the more he felt a pressure building up inside of him—like a fire shut up in his bones, and he had to preach, had to let it out and tell others about the Lord! Yep, that’s Kara!
Her hope for the church is to be creative, daring, and audacious in sharing the Good News and making disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.
She is a wife, mama (to the most adorable toddler as well as fur baby), an ordained elder in the United Methodist Church and her favorite word is “y’all!”
